Arlington is chock full of things to experience. But if you had to boil them down to just a few, what would you do? We live and breathe Arlington and the surrounding area , so we put our heads together and compiled a list for you - from what to do, where to go what to see and when to do it.

Of course we're not your typical real estate team, and this isn't your typical list! (Catch all of the past posts here for posterity).

#1 Cruisin'... on a Sunday Afternoon

The Minuteman Bikeway is one of the top to-do's in Arlington. Why not make a day of it? Cruise along from Alewife to Bedford, and when you need a break, stop at Great Meadows for some bird watching or just take in the scenery. And when you're cycled out top it off with pit-stop at Not Your Average Joe's for lunch or dinner.

#2 Local Yolks for Local Folks

The Arlington Farmers Market has everything from their farm to your table. Breads, dairy, beef, fish, fruit and veggies - your next meal never tasted so fresh.

#3 Take a Magical History Tour

The history books might talk about Lexington and Concord, but we know that Arlington was a key player in the Revolutionary War as well. Tour the historic Jason Russell House, the Old Schwamb Mill, and the Cyrus E. Dallin Art Museum and learn more about the historic depth and character of Arlington.

#4 I Can Canoe, Can You?

Spy Pond offers great water activities for adults and families of all ages. Canoe or Kayak on Spy Pond and take in the peaceful sights and sounds of nature.

#5 Down the Chute

#6 Get Fit

There's no excuse not to get moving! Arlington has plenty to offer the exercise-averse. There are adult basketball leagues at Fidelity House, swimming at the Boys and Girls Club, yoga at Fitness First, or hit Gold's Gym for a range of classes to suit anyone's needs.

#7 Get Cultured

Whether you're on a first date or taking a client out to close a deal, knowing how to select a good wine ups your cultural cache. Refine your taste buds with complimentary wine and beer tastings at Menotomy Beer & Wine on Fridays and Saturday's from 4 p.m. -7 p.m.

#8 Get Smart

"Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school." - Albert Einstein. Never stop learning! Take an adult education class at Arlington Community Education or Arlington Center for the Arts and learn something new.

#9 Get Lit

Go to the Robbins Library and brush up on your lit(erature). Or just read a newspaper or magazine in the beautiful Reading Room (no one needs to know you're there to read the latest People!). The Reading Room features a fireplace, marble mosaic floor, antique oak wall, marble columns and gold leaf accentuated arches and ceiling.

#10 The Cutting Edge

Whether you fancy yourself a Zdeno Chara or a Nancy Kerrigan, the Ed Burns Arena will have you cutting up the ice - or icing parts that you never knew you could hurt. Rentals are available as well as plenty of hot chocolate when it's Zamboni time.

#11 They'll Steer You Right

Jimmy's Steer House - or as we like to call it, the 'Cheers' of Arlington - is where everyone knows your name and your favorite steak and potatoes entrée.

#12 The Arlington Heights Trifecta

If you live in Arlington, you know what we're talking about. Step 1: Gear up with a Starbucks coffee. Step 2: Make the rounds at Trader Joe's - don't forget the sample station! Step 3: Hit Walgreens for the non-Trader Joe items - just don't trip on the coupon printout on your way out!
