We're not your typical real estate team, and this isn't your typical list! These last five round out our Top 20 series! In case you missed it, check out our previous posts (1-15) of the top things to do in Arlington and see if you agree! Now here's #16-20. We will post the Top 20 in its entirety later this week! #ArlingtonMA #Top20
#16 Window Shop Around
Not that there's anything wrong with the Gap, but it's nice to buy something uniquely you. Shopping local makes you look good and feel great. Park the car and stroll Mass. Ave. - you'll be surprised at the shops you miss by driving!
#17 Which Way to the Beach?
Not only can you get to the Arlington Reservoir Beach in under 7 minutes from most places in town (no 128 or Route 3 traffic on a Saturday morning!), you also have your choice among shady spots under trees, on a grassy knoll or front and center. Lifeguards, snack bar, playground, bathrooms, showers - The Arlington Res has it all!
#18 Do it for the Children!
Arlington prides itself on great schools and the great kids that are in 'em. Show your support any number of ways for Arlington High and Arlington Catholic - get your car washed at one of the weekend car wash fundraisers at AHS, take in a theater production, or cheer on your team at a sporting event -kids play for the love of the game, not contracts!
#19 Jam Out
Arlington offers its own Summer Concert Series on the Jefferson Cutter House Lawn. Check out this clip from The Dave Sammarco Band this past summer. You can get your groove on without leaving town!
#20 Town Day
Every town has its' day, and ours it one of the best! Arlington Town Day showcases everything our town has to offer - history, community, games, music, food, fun, families and fireworks! It's a great time to get out and see why so many people choose to call Arlington home!
