Real estate in Arlington and Medford is moving right along. Inventory remains low but there is still movement in the market.
Across the board (S/F, condos & M/F) there are more homes available in Medford than Arlington, and the average sale price is slightly lower. This makes Medford a great alternative for buyers looking for a few more options at price points that are a bit more affordable.
Arlington continues to be a sought-after location with the average sales price for a single-family home going for about 7.7% over the list price. Medford single-family home sales averaged about 5% over the list price.
Low inventory continues to be the talk of most towns, but there are opportunities to be had. We have a number of new listings coming on the market this summer, and it's shaping up to be an active market so don't expect much of a slow-down.
