Thanks to all who attended our Spring-Cleaning event at the Ed Burns Arena parking area on April 15th. It was a well-attended and successful event with more than 1,703 pounds of clothing donated to Second Chances!
Second Chances is a community organization that collects and distributes used clothing, shoes, and accessories to those in need. These donations help individuals as they take their first steps toward brighter futures and serve to minimize the amount of apparel going into local landfills.
In addition to donations, many people took advantage of our shredding services to further tackle their spring-cleaning tasks! Everyone was treated to free lemonade from Del’s, and the kids had a great time in the bounce house courtesy of Nick’s Landscaping Services.
It was our pleasure to provide these opportunities to the local community and we appreciate everyone who came out to participate!
