For example, Woburn had 8 homes sell over $1M in 2023 as compared to 6 in 2022. Medford’s average home price over $1M was $1,448,500 in 2023 as compared to $1,218,369 in 2022.
The Green Line Extension has opened up access to parts of Cambridge, Somerville and Medford making certain neighborhoods hot-spots for those wanting to keep their urban lifestyle but with more housing styles and options.
Thinking outside the Massachusetts box? Areas like New Hampshire are popular for lower taxes and Florida is a destination for warm weather seekers. Portland, Maine is also a hot spot for its food scene and access to nature.
