A Scooper-Cool Guide to Local Ice Cream

With Labor Day behind us and the unofficial start of fall upon us, it's time to soak up the last bit of summer - from swimming pools, to outdoor dining, and - most importantly - ice cream.

You might be wondering, why is a real estate team interested in ice cream? Just as good schools and proximity to public transportation are selling points, so is ice cream availability (or at least we think so). So, we took it upon ourselves to do a bit of research and gathered all of the delectable data for you to get your summer fix.
Arlington
The Scoop N Scootery 112 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington
The Scoop: Since May 2016, Scoop N Scootery's Arlington location has crafted distinct and delicious sundaes. Unlike your normal ice cream joint, their shop is tailored to both walk-ins and carry-out orders.

Del's Lemonade 1050 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington
The Scoop: While Del's Lemonade is well known for their lemonade, they also serve up amazing ice cream. You can either order by the scoop, or enjoy a delicious frappe, flurry, root beer float, or sundae.

Trader Joe's 1427 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington
The Scoop: While Trader Joe's is not an ice cream shop, their French Vanilla is worth the stop. And there's nothing 'vanilla' about it.

Belmont
Rancatore's Ice Cream 36 Leonard Street, Belmont
The Scoop: A local favorite, Ranc's is known for their attentive customer service, great tasting ice cream, made-from-scratch hot fudge, and their love for their community.
Bonus: If you have a gluten free friend in your life, give Ranc's a try as they have GF cones.

Moozys Ice Cream 2 Trapelo Road, Belmont
The Scoop: Are you need of a custom-made ice cream cake? Look no further than Moozys Ice Cream & Yogurt Emporium.

Sweet Heart 386 Trapelo Road, Belmont
The Scoop: If you're interested in ice cream and Boba, this is the place for you. Along with their ice cream and boba menu, Sweet Heart offers smoothies.

Woburn

Nanabette's Ice Cream 156 Main Street, Woburn

The Scoop: A Woburn staple, this family owned business has been up and running for 20 years - and for good reason. Nanette's services up both Bliss ice cream as well as soft serve.

Breakers Ice Cream 106 Winn Street, Woburn

The Scoop: Tried and true, Breakers will always quench your thirst for ice cream. Whether you're looking for ice cream, sherbet, sorbet or frozen yogurt, you will not be disappointed.

Blanche's 29 South Bedford Street, Woburn

The Scoop: Named after the founder's Nana, Blanche, is an ice cream truck reimagined. Picture this - an aesthetically pleasing gourmet ice cream truck serving up Richardson's ice cream, waffle cones, toppings, and more at your event.

Elsewhere
Bedford Farms 18 North Road, Bedford, & 68 Thoreau Street, Concord
The Scoop: Specialties include gourmet ice cream, frozen yogurt and soft serve in over 60 flavors. Plus, they have a Loyalty Program where you can literally eat your way to free ice cream.

Kimball Farm 343 Bedford Road, Carlisle (locations also Westford, Lancaster, and Jaffrey NH)
The Scoop: Kimball Farm is all about ice cream with ambiance. Enjoy a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere while looking out over fields and meadows. The kids will love the sheep, goats, and geese on this not-so-little farm.
