We're eager to introduce our newest team member, Lauren Smith, who joins us as our fall marketing intern. Lauren is a senior at Emerson College studying Writing, Literature, and Publishing with an emphasis in magazine publishing. However, her talents extend beyond the classroom, making her a perfect fit for our team.

A Skillful Writer and Editor
At Emerson, Lauren not only excels academically, but also holds the position of Living Editor at Your Magazine. Her role as Living Editor has not only refined her writing and editing skills, but has given her valuable insights into what makes content engaging and impactful.
A Rockin' Radio Host
Lauren's interests don't stop at writing; she's also a co-host of WECB's "Halfway Decent Friends," a campus radio show. The show's name derives from a lyric in "Anti-Curse" by Boygenius. Lauren and her co-host, Sofia Mendes, create soundtracks for hypothetical movies they are "producing." For example, the duo shares songs they would soundtrack on a romcom they want to see produced. Lauren's passion for music, combined with her love for radio, allows her to explore her creative side in a completely different medium.
In Her Free Time
Speaking of music, Lauren is a true music aficionado. She has attended an impressive number of concerts, despite it's a significant strain on her bank account. Recently, she attended the Taylor Swift and Clairo concerts. And her concert adventures are far from over; Lauren's looking forward to three upcoming shows: Boygenius, TV Girl, and Faye Webster.
What Lauren Brings to Our Team
As a marketing intern, Lauren brings a fresh perspective to our team. Her passion for writing and editing, coupled with her experience as an editor, means that she's well-equipped to create compelling content that resonates with our clients. Her radio hosting experience also gives her a unique edge in understanding how to connect with people through different forms of media.
We couldn't be more thrilled to welcome Lauren to our marketing team. With her diverse skill set, she's a valuable addition that promises to bring creativity and fresh ideas to our campaigns. We can't wait to see how she contributes to our projects and helps us connect with our clients in exciting new ways. Welcome aboard, Lauren! We're so happy you're here.
