Arlington EATS is one of Arlington’s most beloved non-profit organizations with a mission to eliminate food insecurity and hunger in our community. In 2017, Arlington Food Pantry and Arlington EATS merged to combine their unique talents and altogether, end hunger.
Steve McKenna & The Home Advantage team values giving back to the community that has always lifted us up. During our #GivingTuesday campaign, Arlingtonians overwhelmingly showed their support, with over 200 nominations, for Arlington EATS, making them one of our donation recipients.
Mitzi Pallotta, our team’s lead transaction coordinator, has been a monthly volunteer for Arlington EATS for over 1 year and helps carry bags to delivery driver’s cars and clean up after bagging all of the groceries going out. She is known by her fellow volunteers as a phenomenal sweeper! Mitzi said, “everyone there is so kind and passionate about helping the food insecure in our community.” It’s people like them that make Arlington a great place to live.
