Local Café, The Roasted Granola:
Tracy Wallace and her pug, Miles, always gets a honey bee latte with almond milk when they visit their Arlington favorite, The Roasted Granola. Miles likes to roam around Arlington with her, see if you can spot him in this photo! Keep your eye around town for him, he's always making his rounds. This café makes and roasts their granola in-house and sources their ingredients from other local businesses and farms.
WHO TO SEE
Arlington’s FixIt Clinic:
Arlington's February FixIt Clinic just passed on the first of the month, but Mike Pallotta wants you to mark your calendars for the next one on March 8th. You can bring in any broken household items and there will be FixIt coaches waiting to help you! You can register to visit online or even register to be a coach. This is a larger part of Arlington's waste reduction program and a great way to get to know your neighbors.

Black History Month at Medford City Hall:
In participation with Tufts African American Foundations and Roots Organization, the city of Medford is celebrating Black History Month. This year's theme is "African Americans and Labor." Annie Kelly encourages you to honor Black History Month and get involved with your community this February. The event is Monday the 17th from 10:30am-1:30pm.

WHAT TO DO
Menotomy Rocks Park:
This park is one of Steve McKenna's favorite Arlington parks. Featuring a picnic area, playground, open spaces, a pond, and walking trails this is the perfect destination for everyone. Grab your coat and some gloves and go reconnect with nature right in the center of Arlington.
Ferullo Field Dog Park:
Mark Garbino's dog might be a little too rowdy for the dog park right now, but soon enough he will be running around Ferullo Field just as soon as the trees start blooming again. The dog park was built in 2019 after receiving a grant that paid for the construction. The park is sectioned into large and small dogs. If you haven't looked into this park, add it to you and your dog's routine!
