Arlington EATS Turkey Trot Sunday, November 2
This is the second annual Arlington EATS Turkey Trot! The race begins at 8:00 AM sharp this Sunday at Hill's Hill Field at Ed Burns Arena. The race is fundraising to end hunger in our community. Participants of all ages are welcome, and you can walk or run!

Parking is available at Reservoir Beach or McClellan Field (parking unavailable at the Ed Burns Arena).

Arlington Open Studios Celebrating local artists
Join Arlington Center for the Arts for their 27th annual Arlington Open Studios showcase! Come see over 80 local artists at 2 sites in Arlington Center. Featured artists explore various mediums, including photography, fiber arts, jewelry, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, painting, and more. This event is free to attend.

The Capitol Theatre is celebrating 100 years! Be sure to reserve your ticket for Casablanca on November 25 at 7:00 PM. The champagne will be flowing, and formal attire is more than welcome.

Tacos & Santa Holiday Brunch at Bartaco in Hingham
Enjoy weekend Brunch with a special visit from Santa at Bartaco in Hingham on December 6 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM (reservations required). You can get photos with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, enjoy family-friendly activities, and some surprises are in store for the little ones!

Got pumpkins? APS's Great Pumpkin Rescue is back
The town's drop-off compost program doesn't accept pumpkins, so Arlington Public Schools has partnered with Black Earth Compost to rescue the pumpkins and turn them into a valuable soil amendment!

Friday, November 7th from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Bring pumpkins to Everett Street near Thompson Elementary School

Gourds of all sizes are accepted

Remove any tea lights or candles

Any paint or bling will not be accepted; try cutting those parts off!

Clothing Clean Out for a Cause with Second Chances
If you are looking to free up space in your closet this winter, consider donating clothing, shoes, and accessories you no longer need to Second Chances. Our June donation drive raised over 700 pounds of clothing.
From November 17 to December 1 (closed 11/27), you can drop off your donations Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, at our office located at 1010 Mass Ave.
