Our goal with this list is to ensure a picture-perfect shoot. We recommend prepping your home at least one day in advance.
Outdoor:
- Manicure the yard.
- Remove vehicles from the driveway and front of the property and close all garage doors.
- Wipe outdoor furniture.
Interior:
- Clean and stage the property; remember, less is best. Remove all clutter and personal photos.
- Sweep, vacuum, or mop to remove dust and debris.
- Dust exposed surfaces and tables.
Lighting:
- Open blinds and window treatments to allow natural lighting in.
Kitchen:
- Clean appliances so they are fingerprint and streak free.
Bathrooms:
- Remove all personal products from countertops, showers, and bathtubs — including toilet scrubbers, waste bins, floor mats, and plungers.
- Ensure all mirrors and bathroom fixtures are clean.
- Close all toilet lids.
